PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the production of a silanated (meth)acrylate (I). SOLUTION: The compound can be produced by reacting an anhydride (II) with a silanation compound (III) (R is H or Me; R<1> , R<2> , R<3> and R<4> are each a 1-10C straight or branched alkyl, an aryl or an aralkyl which may have substituents or contain a hetero atom; and R<4> may be H). The compound (I) having high purity is produced by preparing a crude mixture containing a compound (IV) in addition to the compound (I) and removing light compounds from the mixture by distillation or distilling the mixture.
