PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems, on an axle bearing device with a curved portion between an inner ring member and a hub flange, being susceptible to muddy water while a hub wheel is formed of a carbon steel with its curved face liable to corrode to possibly cause a sealing member to be lower in sealing property, even thought the sealing member has a lip portion in direct contact with the curved face. SOLUTION: The portion, susceptible to muddy water has a sealing structure 12 which consists of a rustproof metal ring 30 fitted to a plane between the outer periphery face of the hub wheel 4 and the hub flange, a core metal 13 fitted to the inner periphery face of a cylindrical outer ring member 10 and an elastic sealing body 37, having the lip portion in contact with the metal ring 30 and fixed to the core metal 13. Even if the hub wheel 4 is formed, for example, a carbon steel, the rusting of the plane between the outer periphery face of the hub wheel 4 and the hub flange is prevented and so the sealing property of the sealing structure 12 is maintained.
