PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical memory element which can be written with information utilizable for copyright protection like prevention of duplication (more particularly prevention of illicit copying) and prevention of illicit use of software, and information, etc., varying by one sheet each, such as serial numbers and can be added with writing of the information, etc., like the data necessary for updating and errata data, separately from intrinsic content data. SOLUTION: This optical memory element 10 consists of a resin core layer 2 and resin clad layers 3 laminated on both surfaces of the resin core layer 2 and has an optical waveguide member having rugged parts 5 for information on at least either of the boundaries of the resin core layer 2 and the resin clad layers 3. The optical memory element described above is constituted by laminating a recordable recording layer 20 thereon. |
