PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent color mixing from being generated in a method for manufacturing a color filter comprising formation of a partition wall layer composed of a resin on a transparent substrate and formation of a coloring part by imparting curable ink to opening parts of the partition wall layer with an inkjet method by excellently repelling the ink on the surface of the partition wall layer. SOLUTION: The curable ink is composed of a colorant, water, a water soluble organic solvent and a binder component of which the 15 wt.% aqueous solution exhibits >=40×10<-3> N/m surface tension when a base component is added thereto in an equivalent amount.
