PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital content providing system for allowing a user terminal to perform only printing using layout information filed by a server device. SOLUTION: An editor server 36 transmits a layout picture to a user PC 2. An image editor 52 sets the layout of a print image according to editing instruction inputted via this layout picture and an input device 23. When the user inputs the instruction of starting printing, the editor server 36 transmits layout information for defining layout to the editor server 36. The editor server 36 files this layout information, completes the transmission of a main picture container 42 to the user PC 2 and transmits this layout information file to the user PC 2. A printing OCX 54 in the user PC 2 creates the print image based on main picture data and layout information in the main picture container 42 and requests printing to a printer driver 29. |
