PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive polymeric material excellent in heat resistance and moisture resistance and a solid electrolytic capacitor utilizing it. SOLUTION: The conductive polymeric material contains a m-fluorobenzene sulfonic acid derivative represented by a general formula [1] below in a polymeric material having an electronically conjugated structure. In the formula [1], X is a sulfonic group, one among R<1> -R<4> is a carboxamide group represented by a general formula [2] below, and the other three represent a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, or an alkyl group. The solid electrolytic capacitor utilizes the conductive polymeric material as a cathodic conductive material.
