FIELD COIL OF START MOTOR

PURPOSE: A field coil of a start motor is provided to reduce a damage of the field coil and improve performance of the start motor by bending the field coil according to positions of taping portions formed on bent portions of the field coil. CONSTITUTION: A field coil(1) is installed on an outer circumference of a pole which is located in the inside of a housing of a start motor. The field coil(1) is formed with a plurality of coils. A plurality of bent portions(2) are formed by bending the field coil(1) according to a shape of pole. A plurality of taping portions(3) are formed on a predetermined portions of the field coil(1) near to the bent portions(2). The taping portions(3) are formed by winding tapes on the predetermined portions of the field coil(1) near to the bent portions(2). The field coil(1) including the taping portions(3) is bent according to the taping positions.
