PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calorie managing device which devises an input method for ingested foods. SOLUTION: A storage means of the calorie managing device stores the names of respective foods as well as categories that the foods belong to and when the name of a fool inputted from an input means matches a category name stored in the storage means, a control means makes a display means display a list of foods belonging to the category and then allows a user to select and inputs the ingested food from the displayed list of foods. The input means is able to indicate the ingested food even in the form of amount value.
