PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless unit that can satisfy a requirement of downsizing of the mobile wireless unit while maintaining an excellent antenna gain characteristic. SOLUTION: A straight line antenna 4 and a coil antenna 5 both forming an L shape are placed in the inside of a flip antenna formation 3 opened/closed by a turning movable mechanism 2 with respect to a mobile wireless unit enclosure 1. When the antenna formation 3 is opened in a direction A, the straight line antenna 4 is stood upright from the inside of the mobile wireless unit enclosure 1, power is fed only to the straight line antenna 4, when the antenna formation 3 is closed in a direction B, the straight line antenna 4 is contained in a state of being fallen down in the mobile wireless unit enclosure 1, the coil antenna 5 is projected and power is supplied only to the coil antenna 5.
