PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the evaluation method of a rubber composition that can perform an acceleration test by adopting a fogging test as the evaluation method of the rubber composition, does not required any forming to a required shape that is required for products, can be executed easily, reliably, and quickly, and at the same time can also perform qualitative and quantitative evaluation. SOLUTION: A fogging-testing apparatus 10 is used, which can accommodate the rubber composition as a test piece inside, and heats a container 12 that can be sealed by a lid member 12a having a light transmission property by a hearing/heat insulation section 14 for heat-insulating to a required temperature. A required amount of rubber composition is accommodated in the container 12. The rubber composition is heated at a specific temperature by the heating/ heat insulation section 14 for retaining for fixed time to volatilizing the organic matter. The organic matter filled into the volatilized container 12 is bonded to the lid member 12a. The amount of the organic matter adhering to the lid member 12a is calculated by measuring light transmission rate and the degree of overflow of the organic matter is evaluated from the calculation value.
