PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer type ink jet recording medium having a surface roughness within a proper range, and an ink jet recording method and an image forming method, with which a clear image can be surely transferred by employing the transfer type ink jet recording medium. SOLUTION: The surface of the transfer type ink jet recording medium has 500 to 12,000 projections per square millimeter each having the height of 1 to 10 μm. Its ink jet recording method and its image forming method are also provided. |
