<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adaptation to a display of high resolution without unnecessarily increasing the memory capacity used for display processing of various pictures. SOLUTION: When a video signal of television video is outputted, a memory 15a is allocated to a television video signal processing part 12 under the control of a CPU 20. The television video signal processing part 12 inputs the television video signal as data to a memory 15a through an A/D converter 11, generates a video signal according to the data inputted to a memory 15a, and outputs it to the display 40 through a video signal composition part 13. When video for navigation is outputted, on the other hand, memories 15a to 15d are so allocated that the CPU 20 and display video signal processing part 14 can access them. The CPU 20 writes data for navigation video generation to the memories 15a to 15d and a display video signal processing part 14 generates a video signal by reading the memories 15a to 15d and outputs it to the display 40 through the video signal composition part 13.</p> |
