PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple microbe assaying system enabling the presence disposition, count and the like of aquatic microbes to be assayed by flow injection technique continuously in a maintenance-free condition for a long time and speedily in high sensitivity without being affected by hindering factors. SOLUTION: This microbe assaying system of flow injection design comprises various pipings, various solenoid valves 7, 16, 20 and 29, mixing sections 12 and 25, coiled reaction sections 23 and 31, a thermostat 24, peristaltic pumps 11, 19 and 28, and detective section 32. This system works as follows: a reaction product formed by reaction between microbes and a reaction solution is detected at the detective section 32, the resultant output signal is transmitted as the data into a computer 43 where an arithmetic processing is made to determine the count of the microbes; wherein the solenoid valves 7, 16, 20 and 29 and the peristaltic pumps 11, 19 and 28, etc., are operated under automatic control by a sequencer 45.
