PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for display which can perform blinking displays unifiedly in timing when a plurality of devices perform such blinking displays in parallel. SOLUTION: The device, equipped with a display means 12 which possibly makes a display based upon information sent to and received from another device in specific display mode in parallel to the other device and timing information generating means 12 and 13 which generate timing information determining the timing of the display in the display mode, is equipped with a means 12 which sends the timing information to the other device. Further, the device is provided with a means which receives timing information similar to the timing information sent from the other device and supplies it to the display means instead of the timing information generated by the timing information generating means.
