PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for detecting a moving distance of a subscriber by using a mobile communication terminal. SOLUTION: A mobile communication exchange network 1 is composed of a mobile communication network exchange node 2 and a subscriber information management unit 3 for storing the positional information of the mobile communication terminal 5. When the moving distance is inquired from a wireless area 2, the subscriber information management unit 3 refers to the subscriber transaction file 13 and the wireless area-to-area distance data file 14, and all the distances of referred stations are added. Through the mobile communication exchange node 2, the moved distance as information is sent to the mobile communication terminal 5, and the information is displayed on the terminal.
