Dirt- and water-repellent textiles with low flammability comprise (A) a textile layer consisting of fibres or filaments of linear aromatic polyester with phosphorus-containing chain members in addition to dicarboxylic acid and diol components, coated with (B) a film-forming layer of high-mol. wt. fluoro-polymer with a fluorine content of at least 50 wt%.
