MODULATING GENE EXPRESSION IN INSECTS BY USING DOUBLE-STRANDED RNA (DSRNA)

摘要

The invention relates to the identification of target molecules in arthropods for insecticides or acaricides. Target genes of interest encoding such target molecules are especially genes that are active/inactive or show at least different expression profiles especially according to specific developmental stages/life cycles. The identification of these new insecticidal target sites is practised by using double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) molecules for targeting specific genes in transgenic files.
