<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a queue assignment system in which the deterioration of transmission quality is hardly generated. SOLUTION: A queue to be assigned to an inputted packet is decided by a queue classifying/selecting part 1 by using a classification tag included in the packet as a retrieval key, and the utilization factor of each queue is calculated by a utilization factor calculating part 7 by periodically calculating the number of the stored packets of each queue, and a newly assigned result for distributing the present traffic to all the queues as much as possible is calculated by an assignment adjusting part 8, and information for allowing the queue classifying/deciding part 1 to decide the queue to be assigned to the inputted packet by using the classification tag as the retrieval key is held by an information setting storing means 2, and the packet is transmitted in an order stored in the queue held by a holding/storing means 4. Thus, the deterioration of transmission quality such as delay characteristic, or packet loss ratio, or jitter characteristics due to traffic concentration on one queue can be prevented, and the resource utilization factor improvement of the whole queues and the further detail priority control can be realized.</p> |
