PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a plastic lens for spectacles and a device thereof capable of improving processing precision in forming the plastic lens for spectacles into a shape of a frame of the spectacles for defect reduction, improving production capacity of a grinder by reducing time required for grinding process, and reducing powder waste generated through processing for enabling recycle of waste. SOLUTION: In processing of the plastic lens for spectacles, polygon or curved line shape approximating to a shape of the frame of spectacles is computed and a holding means and/or a cutting means is controlled to make a processed lens in the computed polygon or curved line shape approximating to the shape of the frame of spectacles. An outside part of the polygon or curved line shape approximating to the shape of the frame of spectacles is removed with the cutting means in a solid state and then the shape of the frame of spectacles is formed with a forming means.
