PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone apparatus that will not cause pain in ears, even if it is warn over a long time. SOLUTION: In this headphone apparatus, a U-shaped neckband 20, that surround occipital region of head by interconnecting a pair of holding arms 2, while both end parts of the pair of the arms 2 go through on both the ears to project to the face side from the both ears, the projecting parts can hold the head from both sides, and a pair of left and right earphones 3 are connected to the neckband 20. The connecting part of the pair of the arms 2 is provided with a player body part 1 capable of playing an audio signal, and the player body part 1 supplies audio signal to the pair of earphones 3.
