PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO transformer which can control temperature distribution inside and can accomplish CO transformation with least volume of catalyst. SOLUTION: With the CO transformer in which transforming catalyst and a coolant distribution device are arranged, and reforming gas for treatment is led to communicate from one end to the other, area of a cooling face of the coolant distribution device in contact with the transforming catalyst is so made to get continuously smaller, or to get smaller in stages, toward a distribution direction of the reforming gas for treatment. |
