AUTOMATIC CUTTER OF PRINTER

PURPOSE: An automatic cutter of printer is provided to reduce abrasion between an upper cutter and a lower cutter and to stably cut a paper. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cutter comprises a cutter shaft(11) rotatably joined to a cutter assembly(1) and having an elastic spring(14) placed on a periphery thereof; a driven gear(12) joined on one side of the cutter shaft and having a concave groove(12a) receiving one end of the elastic spring; an upper cutter(10) joined on one end of the driven gear and rotating integrally with the driven gear; a driving ear(13) engaged with the driven gear and receiving driving force from a driving motor; and a lower cutter(20) installed to have one end contacting with one side of the upper cutter and cutting a paper(P) delivered between the upper cutter and the lower cutter.
