PURPOSE: A coke sensing apparatus is provided on which a plurality of coke sensing sensors arranged parallel to the bottom inclined surface of a coke wharf are mounted so that a worker in operation room discriminates piling shape and piling weight of coke piled on the coke wharf. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for sensing coke on a coke wharf remotely discriminating piling shape and piling weight of coke piled on the coke wharf, the apparatus for sensing coke on the coke wharf comprises a moving support having a frame which is installed so that it is moved along traveling rails arranged horizontally to the discharge end of the coke wharf, and a mount which is arranged parallel to the inclined surface of the coke wharf from one end fixed to the frame; and a coke sensing part having a plural sensing sensors arranged along the lower surface of the mount to sense coke piled on the inclined surface of the coke wharf, wherein auxiliary rails are adjacently installed to the traveling rails, a plural position sensing targets are installed along the auxiliary rails with the position sensing targets being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance so that the position sensing targets discriminate position of the moving support, and position sensing sensors are installed on the moving support to sense the position sensing targets. |
