PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for an automobile easily mountable on the automobile and having high storing convenience. SOLUTION: This cover for the automobile comprises a cover body 3 for covering the outer surface of the automobile, and a winding device 5 for winding the cover body 3 back and forth movably. The winding device 5 has a mounting means 8 for mounting the winding device 5 to the front side or the back side of the automobile. The tip of the cover body 3 is provided with a locking means 6 lockable or unlockable to the front side or the back side of the automobile.
