Two fittings(1,2) are brought together and as they approach each other a flowable material(5) is introduced between them. After both parts are fully engaged the material is cured to form a positive connection. Independent claims are made for: a) a set of two door or window fittings to be connected together by the claimed method; b) a door or window fitting used in the claimed joining method.
