PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a direct-acting shaft drop preventing mechanism, which has a simple constitution and is compact, in a dual-axis compound motor. SOLUTION: In the dual-axis composite motor fitted with a spline shaft 6 having a spline groove in a pat of its periphery, direct-acting shaft frame 3, fitted with a direct-acting shaft bearing 8 which is fitted into the spline groove of this spline shaft 6, a spline nut 16 supported by a rotating shaft frame 17 a rotating shaft via bearing 14, a rotating shaft rotor 13 fixed to the periphery of this spline nut 16, a rotating shaft stator 12 arranged outside this rotor 13 and fixed to the frame 17, a moving element 5 for a direct-acting shaft, which is in the shape of double cylinders composed of an external cylinder 5a and an internal cylinder 5b and is supported by the spline shaft 6 via the bearing 8, and a stator 4 for the direct-acting shaft arranged outside the moving element 5 and fixed to the frame 3, a droppage preventing spring 9 is arranged in a space formed between the internal cylinder 36 of the direct-acting shaft frame and the internal cylinder 5b of the moving element for the direct-acting shaft.
