PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side face folder in a box-shaped packaging machine, which can tightly wrap a work without losing its shape. SOLUTION: A first folding plate 50, a second folding plate 60 and a third folding plate 70 are sequentially provided in an order of feeding a set of works W from an inlet toward an outlet. The first folding plate 50 comprises a member for folding a rear part of an end of wrapping paper forward. The second folding plate 60 comprises a member for folding a front side part of the end of the wrapping paper backward. The third folding plate 70 comprises a member for folding an upper part of the end of the paper downward and folding a lower part upward. The folder further comprises conveyers 41 and 42 for carrying the set of works W from the inlet toward the outlet while supporting a lower surface of the set, an upper pusher 43A for pushing an upper end of the set to carry it from the inlet to the outlet and a lower pusher 43B for pushing a lower end of the set of works to carry it from the inlet to the outlet.
