OILY DIAMOND PASTE ABRASIVE COMPOSITION AND ITS AEROSOL ABRASIVE PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily aerosol abrasive product which contains diamond abrasive powder and can be spray-coated only in a constant necessary amount in a state that the diamond abrasive powder is homogeneously stirred, when used, and to provide an oily diamond paste abrasive composition suitable for producing the same. SOLUTION: This oily diamond paste abrasive composition is obtained by thickening diamond abrasive powder and an oil with a thickening agent. The aerosol abrasive product is obtained by liquidizing the composition with a diluent and then charging the diluted liquid together with a propellant into a container 1 equipped with a constant rate valve 2. The thickening agent is preferably fumed silica and is compounded in an amount of 1 to 20 wt.% based on the total amount of the composition.
