<p>A drying system (3) for removing a wetting agent from surfaces of a vehicle includes application of a surfactant to the surfaces of the vehicle to provide a reduction in the coefficient of friction between the surfaces of the vehicle and the wetting agent. An air blower device (21) for the removal of the wetting agent from the surfaces of the vehicle is used in combination with the surfactant to provide an enhanced drying effect. The air blower has a housing (23) formed for use proximate ground level with an inlet (25) and an outlet (270) and a motor (53) having a shaft (55) with blade means (57) attached thereto for producing an air flow. The blower housing is formed so that the air blower does not draw in debris proximate ground level. A hose (29) is attached to the blower device and has a sufficient inner diameter to substantially maintain the produced airflow. Some preferred embodiments may include a centrifugal type air blower device and/or a motorized washing device (11).</p> |
