PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press working method capable of easily and securely removing burrs with a press and a presswork piece with no burrs. SOLUTION: In a press working method, the circumferential part 2 of punched holes 11, 14 in a work piece 1 are pressed until they are lowered by one step than the other part in the work piece, thereby burrs at the circumferential part are crushed. Before being pressed, a guide for preventing deformation is provided on both or either one of inner side and outer side of the circumferential part to be pressed. In a presswork piece, the circumferential part 2 of punched holes therein has recessed parts 5, formed by pressing, lower by one step than the other part in the work. The circumferential part of punched portion in the work is pressed to crush burrs thereon.
