PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system adopting an AF system in a lens having a multipoint AF function, capable of rapidly performing pulse correcting processing at overlap integration by an absolute minimum command and easily coping even with the increase of the focus detection area of a camera body. SOLUTION: In overlap processing for updating the driving amount of the photographing lens in the midst of driving the photographing lens, the integration start timing of light receiving sensors (focus detection area) started simultaneously, integration finish timing to inform of the finish of integration of the respective light receiving sensors finished at different time, and order information to inform of the integration finishing order of one focus detection area selected in the camera body are transmitted from the camera body side to the photographing lens. |
