The invention concerns cosmetics. More precisely, it concerns lipsticks tubes of the type comprising a stick designed to be extracted from a tube for use, then retracted into the tube to be protected therein. The inventive lipstick tube is of the type comprising a stick (1) borne by a support adapted to co-operate with means provided on the inner wall of a substantially cylindrical sheath (2) so as to move said stick (1) in translation along said sheath (2) when the latter rotates while said support is locked in rotation relative to said sheath (2), said sheath, being incorporated in a case (3) having an orifice (4a, 4b), (4) at one of its ends through which said stick (1) can be extracted or retracted. Said tube is characterised in that said sheath (2) is mounted rotatable in said case (3) and said case (3) has at least a window (31) through which said sheath (2) can be rotated. The tube further comprises a mobile shutter (5) inside the case and mounted on a ring (52) whereof the inner wall is threaded, said ring being mobile over a threaded portion (22) of the sheath (2).
