PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-made joint hardware capable of making joint similar to tenon jointing without being required for any skilled technics to logs having different diameters and end forms. SOLUTION: A joint plate 3 for connecting with another member is fixed to the outside of a bottom plate 2 of a metal-made cylindrical cup 1, at the same time, a wood screw hole 4 is bored in the bottom plate 2, a mouth section 5 of the cylindrical cup 1 is formed in the shape of an edged tool to constitute the joint hardware, the bottom plate 2 is driven to a cutting section of the log 12 throughout the mouth section 5 of the joint hardware, and the joint hardware is fixed to the log through a wood screw from the wood screw hole 4.
