PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the vibration control effect with only equivalent mass without using a magnetic circuit in comparison with a conventional constrain/relief type diagonal bracing cable vibration control device with the structure for obtaining the vibration control effect by generating the vibration of a stabilized multiple-frequency vibration mode when releasing in constrain/relief between a cable, namely an attraction plate, and the magnetic circuit. SOLUTION: A bottom plate (rotary inertia Iu) is fitted to one side of a housing (rotary inertia Ih), and a shaft is passed through this bottom plate through a ball bearing. A ball nut (rotary inertia In) is fitted to the housing on the opposite side to the bottom plate, and a ball screw is passed through. Each tip of the shaft and the ball screw projected out of the housing are provided between the diagonal bracing cable and a fixed part near the diagonal bracing cable fixing part so as to form a vibration control device for diagonal bracing cable.
