PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling of minute items by encapsulating them and an adhesive resin in microcapsules. SOLUTION: First, an adhesive solution is prepared; then, minute items are mixed and dispersed under agitation in the adhesive solution; and a given solution is added to the resultant dispersion to be reacted. After a certain time, the temperature of the reaction product is lowered, and the product is subjected to cleaning, filtration, and drying, thus giving microcapsules comprising a core substance consisting of an adhesive resin and the minute items and shells consisting of a hard material. By setting the size of the minute item at 0.5 mm or lower and the size of the microcapsule at 1-1.5 mm, the handleability of the minute item is improved and suitable change of a used apparatus according to the size of the minute item is made unnecessary.
