The plate-shaped concrete slab is provided with holes and is for ground coverage, particularly banks or bases of water overflow, being formed by an assembly of grass blocks with peripheral cavity and pin profiles for connection to identical adjacent slabs. The slab has a surface of preferably at least approximately one square meter. It has a preferred weight of more than 150 kg and a thickness of 9-20 cm. The holed area of the slab is preferably approximately 30.8 per cent of the total surface. The length and breadth of the slab are approximately 80 x 120 cm.
