PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based ink composition for a writing utensil capable of preventing bubbles from forming in an ink and providing a good handwriting and to provide the writing utensil comprising the water-based ink composition therein. SOLUTION: This water-based ink composition for the writing utensil comprises a colorant, water, a water-soluble organic solvent and a hydroxylamine represented by general formula (1) [wherein, R1 denotes an alkyl group; and R2 denotes hydrogen or an alkyl group]. The writing utensil comprises the water-based ink composition therein. |
