<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient welding/cutting remote operation apparatus for nuclear fusion reactor blankets, which can access the welds and cut supporting legs of the blankets through remote operations from the front side of the blankets. SOLUTION: The welding/cutting remote operation apparatus for the nuclear fusion reactor blankets comprises a frame, sliders and a manipulator. The frame is provided with two right and left vertical guide rails, each having a slightly larger width than a blanket width, supporting bars at right angles forward from upper and lower end parts of the right and left guide rails, and bolt-tightening tools set to leading ends of the supporting bars for tightening bolts to a back plate. The slider is set movably in the vertical directions to each of the right and left guide rails of the frame and has a welding/cutting head set movably back and forth. A nozzle part of the welding/ cutting head which has a width enabling the nozzle part to be inserted in a gap between adjacent blankets is made rotatable. A tool panel of the manipulator, where four tools for bolting coupling tools coupled to the center of a rear face of the frame and the bolt tightening tools altogether to the back plate, are set movable in the back and forth direction is mounted to an arm leading end.</p> |
