METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DECOMPOSING URETHANE RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for decomposing the urethane resin improving a yield of decomposing a product manufactured from blended resins. SOLUTION: This method of decomposing chemically the urethane resin mixture for refrigerator insulation which contains the urethane resin in an amount of 60% or more is characterized by placing a filter on a discharging part of the decomposition apparatus and filtering the decomposition product at a high temperature. The filter is of a changeable type or is provided with a residue removal function so that the residue can be removed at any time. The filter has also a centrifugal separation function and has an aperture of 0.5-3.0 mm in diameter or in a side. An epoxy resin composition is provided using as a curing agent for the decomposition product of the urethane resin mixture for refrigerator insulation.
