PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building reconstructing method which reconstructs an existing building into a building of a different application, economically and in a short construction period. SOLUTION: According to the method, a floor body F1 on a predetermined story of the existing building K is removed, and a floor body F2 on a story immediately below the predetermined story is reinforced. In this manner, the existing building K is reconstructed.
