PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and easily usable helmet having high impact resistance, especially suitably usable as a bulletproof helmet, etc., and capable of readily carrying out recycling. SOLUTION: This helmet is obtained by using an alloy 11a consisting essentially of at least magnesium, a laminated material 11 prepared by laminating the alloy 11a consisting essentially of the magnesium onto a plastic 11b or a laminated material 11 obtained by laminating the plastic 11b between the alloys 11a and 11a consisting essentially of the magnesium so as to sandwich the plastic 11b therebetween as a material constituting the helmet body.
