SOLUTION: The input side of this piezoelectric transformer utilizing a surface spreading vibration mode is divided into two electrodes and arranged at one end and center of a lengthwise direction and they are obliquely symmetrically driven. The output is outputted from an output electrode at the other end. Output characteristics can be changed by the ratio of the length and width of a piezoelectric ceramic substrate.
