PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk enabling prevention of copying without allowing an optical disk not to fit to the standard. SOLUTION: An optical disk provided with many sectors each of which has a user area, a synchronizing pattern signal is recorded in a user data area of a sector in which an information data are not recorded.
