PURPOSE: An advertising method using the Internet is provided to compile statistics on the frequency of Web Surfing of users and provide users with the corresponding advertisements based on the statistics. CONSTITUTION: An advertising company concludes an advertising contract with an ISP(Internet Service Provider) for advertisements to be provided to users(S200). A user connects to the Internet using a server provided by the ISP and visits Web sites(S202). The ISP extracts common contents of the Web sites the user has visited(S204), and gathers statistics on Web surfing number of times, the concentration degree of the surfing and surfing time, based on the extracted contents(S206). The result of the statistics on the Web surfing number of times and the concentration degree is stored to construct a database(S208). Contents having much Web surfing number of times and having a high concentration degree are selected in the database(S210). An advertisement for the selected contents is separately provided to the user under Web surfing(S212). If the user visited the provided advertisement(S214), a predetermined prize is awarded to the user(S216).
