The vehicle has a support structure of lightweight construction plates (26,28,36,38,58,60,74-76), which have plane parallel plate walls to define a hollow chamber arrangement. The hollow chamber is closed at a narrow side of the construction plates by a cover element (68). The cover element has a profile strip (66) with several plugs that fit in corresponding hollow chambers in the construction plate (32).
