PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for bringing a printing spot of a first print head into coincidence with that of a second print head by enabling attaching and detaching of the first and second heads. SOLUTION: The printer comprises the first print head 14a having first orifices aligned in a sub-scanning direction, the second print head 14b adjacent to the head 14a having second orifices aligned along a main scanning direction in the sub-scanning direction, a drive circuit 27 for driving both the heads to inject ink droplets, and a controller 21. In this printer, the controller 21 deviates injecting timing of the first orifices from that of the second orifices. |
