A machine dischwashing detergent composition is disclosed. The composition includes delayed-release solid particles comprising at least one ingredient that is intended to perform its function during the reinse cycle of an automatic dishwashing cycle wherein the particles float in water and have no more than one dimension bigger than 1 cm.
