<p>A sheet handling transport apparatus (8). The apparatus comprises a sheet transport mechanism adapted to move a sheet in a first direction along a path (28) in the apparatus, and a plurality of sheet receiving stations (12) in the apparatus. The apparatus includes a gate (16) associated with each station.
