发明名称 METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY MEASURING TEMPERATURE AND METAL VAPOR MIXING RATIO OF ARC DISCHARGE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously measure the temperature T and the metal vapor mixing ratio XM of an arc discharge taking its self absorption characteristic into consideration. SOLUTION: The arc discharge is spectroscopically observed to measure the radiant intensity of its bright line spectrum. From the self absorption characteristic of this radiant intensity and a temperature (measured value) Tc calculated from post-absorption radiant intensity, the dependency of a temperature Tr calculated from pre-absorption radiant intensity on the metal vapor mixing ratio XM is found. In addition, the dependency of the temperature Tr on the mixing rate XM is found from the composition characteristic of particles constituting the arc and its electron density (measured value) Ne. By using the relations stated above, the temperature Tr and the mixing ratio XM are simultaneously measured.
