PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk which enables power source cords and communication cords of electronic office machines used on the top plate to be easily handled into good appearance and to which lighting equipment and desk partitions are easily attached. SOLUTION: A leg attaching edge part 4 cut off into a shape such as concave arc is formed on each corner of the rectangular top plate 2 of this desk. Each leg body 3 attached on each corner part of the top plate 2 is formed of an edge leg part 5 matched to a leg attaching edge part 4 of the top plate 2 and a cylinder shape holding leg part 7 equipped on the central part of the outer face of the edge leg part 5. The upper end part of the edge leg part 5 of the leg body 3 is attached along the leg attaching edge part 4 on each corner part of the top plate 2. A cord holding body has a fitting part to detachably fit in and hold the holding leg part 7 of the leg body 3 and a cord holding edge part projected from both side edges of the fitting part.
